Places To Avoid In Bangkok & Pattaya… Advice Pls? :Thailand Questions

I'm not familiar with the hotel you'll be staying at in Pattaya, but it's a much seedier place than Bangkok. In fact, Pattaya might be the most seediest place in Thailand. If you're looking for culture, food, etc, I don't think I'd go to .... If your plan in Bangkok is day trips (Grand Palace?) and Shopping (Siam Square, Mah Boon Krong?), you should be fine.
